A birth certificate is a civil registry document issued by the registry office with jurisdiction over the municipality where the individual was born. If a person was born abroad, the competent authority is the Special Registry Office based in Brno.

The document must always be legalized in the country of origin. The above services can therefore be arranged for birth certificates issued by Czech registry offices.
If your foreign birth certificate has already been legalized in the country of origin, we can arrange a certified translation for use with Czech authorities.
The standard processing time for a certified translation of a birth certificate is 3 business days. However, certified birth certificate translations can also be provided on an express basis within 2, 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours from receipt of the order.
