The Criminal Register is an information system operated by the Ministry of Justice that maintains records of individuals who have been lawfully convicted in criminal proceedings, as well as records of other facts relevant to criminal proceedings. The data contained in the register is used for criminal, civil, and administrative proceedings, and for proving a person’s good conduct.
We offer the issuance of a criminal record extract for individuals, including all required certifications:
To obtain a criminal record extract for an individual, we will need you to deliver or send to our office a certified power of attorney from the person whose extract is required.
If the person is abroad, the power of attorney can be certified at a Czech embassy or consulate, or by a local notary.
If needed, we can provide a sample power of attorney.
The standard processing time for issuing an extract is 3 business days. However, we also provide express processing within 2, 4, 8, 12, or 24 hours from the moment the order is received. You can find more details about processing times here.
If needed, we can also provide certified translations of extracts into all languages officially registered in the Czech Republic.
